In search of investment, Emina and Kenan delivered emails to all major companies in BiH. After a positive response from Sparkasse Bank, they received an initial incentive to start a startup business.

Through the Patent Innovation competition, which involved more than 2,400 applications, only 11 teams across Europe were awarded. As a result, Motus is the first team in the program’s history to come from the Balkans.

Portugal was the first destination they visited, and there the goal was to validate the ideas they had. After that, they researched the market through this competition and prepared for a demo day in Spain and Denmark.

In 2022, by receiving an award through the CROWN project, they also got the opportunity to expand their team and further work on the startup.

Motus Health team is a mediator between professionals and ordinary people. They convey the needs and make them come true with the help of experts in neurology, physiatry, psychology, nutrition, and speech therapy. Their hope one day is to build an ecosystem for neurological and neurodivergent diseases.

Emina, a founder & CEO of a Motus Health startup, has a strong background in project management which she gained through her involvement in NGOs and student projects, so that’s why she decided to get her bachelor’s degree in Business & IT.

Kenan, a co-founder & COO of a Motus Health startup, was an IT student and a full- time designer at a digital agency before joining a healthcare startup. After gaining his bachelor’s degree in IT, he hopes to get his master’s degree in artificial intelligence and further contribute to the development of future projects in healthcare.
